About the Appalachian Geological Society
The Appalachian Geological Society ("Geoclub") is a group for students who are devoted to appreciating and preserving Earth's environment, history and natural wonders.
We are actively involved in community service, University events, and Geological excursions. We visit museums, see fossils, camp out by mines and explore caves.
We meet in Rankin Science South 119, the Vulcan Materials Lab, the first Thursday of every month at 6 pm, where we discuss plans, organize events, and eat pizza.
