Congratulations to Dr. Billy Armstrong - NSF has funded his work on the Athabasca Glacier in Canada. Dr. Armstrong will be working with undergraduates Hannah Field and Anthony Hengst on this project; they will use a combination of fieldwork and remote sensing to measure how glaciers move as they melt.
