Appalachian Today profiled Annie Klyce, a 2019 Geological and Environmental Sciences (GES) graduate, to highlight her achievemetns and experiences as an Appalachian GES major. Klyce was an integral part of the Department's outreach efforts, and is now pursuing a master's degree at the University of South Carolina, where her thesis research will investigate how spatial thinking skills affect students' understanding of geologic concepts.
