Junior Jacob Pratt (BS Geology) recently received a Society of Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) Carolinas/Georgia Section Scholarship for Students in the Geosciences. Per SME, "this scholarship was established to recognize outstanding full-time students enrolled in geoscience programs in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia who have achieved positive academic records."
