Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences

Dr. Cahoon is new to the department; she completed her Ph.D. in marine science at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science in 2025, and then went on to work for the North Carolina Geological Survey as a coastal scientist prior to coming to Appalachian.
